The ISD Council was moderating the panel discussion at the Webinar for the Launch of Indonesia-Australia Skills Exchange (IASE) Platform. The platform was developed by KATALIS, a program under the implementation of Indonesia-Australia Comprehensive Economic Partnership (IA-CEPA). Indonesia’s workforce consists of a large population, young demographic and on-going economic transformation. With almost half of it employed in services sector and the advancement of technology drives the needs of reskilling and upskilling workers to ensure that they can fit into future jobs, ISD Council supports the effort to narrow the gap between the supply and demand in job market through the platform. Compatibility between education and industry needs is prerequisite to improve Indonesia competitiveness in a global competitive market.
