The ISD Council held a meeting with Laksana Tri Handoko (Head of National Research and Innovation Agency/ Badan Riset dan Inovasi Nasional”) as a mean of introductory and sharing update about the services sector in Indonesia. ISD conveyed that with the emergence of new technology, services sector has transformed in the way of traditional services activities are conducted. Digital technology also has introduced digitalization of services sectors that bring new services due to the use of technology. Therefore, digital connectivity becomes crucial infrastructure to support the digital economy and henceforth the national economic growth.
