ISD, promoting growth and greater efficiency of Indonesia services sectors
Initiated in 2010 as a dialogue forum under Ministry of Trade with the support of KADIN and CSIS, and later also involved APINDO.
ISD Council was established legally in 2015. To date, the activities cover the following:
Providing strategic and integrated approach to the services sectors development in Indonesia
Facilitate inclusive dialoque forum for private sectors, government institutions and other participants in the services sectors
Fostering new evidence-based economic researches on
the services sectors
Formulating concrete input to Indonesian Government in the area of trade in services and investment in services
Provide services information and research publications
to members and related stakeholders
Establishing domestic and international networking

As the leading organization in the services sector in Indonesia, ISD have a broad network from a wide array of industries including :

Began the process of institutional strengthening and this focused mainly on building public profile and awareness of ISD. ISD was administered by APINDO in this phase.
Established as an independent Indonesian legal entity as a Council or ‘Perkumpulan’. ISD now represents a tripartite body in cooperation with APINDO, KADIN, the Ministry of Trade Republic of Indonesia, and
CSIS
ISD is an independent Indonesian legal entity as a form of ‘Council’. ISD has elected its Board members and has been registered in the Ministry of Legal and Human Rights RI with Decree No. AHU-0000018. AH.01.07.TAHUN 2015, dated on January 6, 2015
